PRISA – Case Monitoring Team is the process of monitoring and supervising the health condition of clients/patients undergoing treatment or medication, to ensure that the medical services provided are in accordance with the policy, medical indications, and are effective and efficient.

The PRISA - Case Monitoring Team process involves interaction between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies/underwriters to achieve optimal outcomes in terms of both health and cost.

The goals of PRISA – Case Monitoring Team are:

  1. Ensuring the Effectiveness of Treatment: Monitoring the patient's health progress, ensuring that the treatment provided is effective, in accordance with the policy, and the applicable diagnosis and medical protocols.
  1. Cost Control: Controlling treatment costs to remain within the limits approved by the policy and determining alternative treatments without reducing the effectiveness of the treatment itself.
  1. Preventing Service Abuse: Ensuring that the medical procedures performed are not excessive or not in accordance with the patient's medical needs.
  1. Coordination of Health Services:  Providing support to patients in planning follow-up care or aftercare after being discharged from the hospital.
